Position: Branch Operations Manager, Chattogram City

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Branch Operations Manager will be responsible for the entire operations of the Branch, ensure every employees provides excellent customer services.
  • Ensure internal control & compliance in the Branch.
  • Check transactions as per guidelines. Ensure all business transactions are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • All Branch maintenance i.e. cleanliness, floor management, branch security, IT security etc.
  • Act as joint custodian of vault keys.
  • Perform duty as BAMLCO.
  • Ensure on time submission of all relevant reports and statements to Regulatory Bodies and Head Office.
  • Cost optimization for the Branch.
  • Ensure employee productivity and engagement.
  • Leading and development of Team.
  • Work in close partnership with Senior Managers in Credit Risk Management, Trade Finance, Investment Banking, SMEs to ensure that the credit requests for new and existing facilities are correctly prepared in accordance with Bank Policies.
  • Ensure customer comply with credit policy, regulatory requirement, and covenant & conditions advised in the sanction letter.

Educational Requirements:

Master’s in Business, Bank Management, Economics or any relevant subjects from leading business school/University. No third division in academic records.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 7 years’ working experience in leading commercial banks out of which 2 years as Branch Operations Manager/Credit Manager in a large/medium size branch preferably located in Chattogram region.

Special Requirement:

  • Excellent cliental base for Corporate, SME & Retail Business.
  • Person needs to be an all-rounder-excellent relationship management skills, very sound knowledge base in Credit, Foreign Trade & General Banking.

Competencies & skills:

  • Smart, Team player, paired with agile mindset and can-do attitude.
  • Good communication skill in Bangla and English.
  • Very good skills in MS Office
