Position: Procurement, Compliance & Bill Processing – General Services Division

Job Grade:  Officer to Senior Officer

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Execution of vendor enlistment after proper evaluation.
  • Ensure appropriate methods for purchase as per procurement policy of the Bank.
  • Execution of all types of procurement (CapEx and OpEx).
  • Execution of all Procurement Agreement and Service Level Agreement.
  • Dealing with stock out issue with store.
  • Ensuring on TAT (Turn Around Time) in regard to procurement in an efficient and cost-effective way.
  • Follow efficient and transparent procurement processes.
  • Budget tracking for procuring capital assets, annual budget planning and budget tracking.
  • Regular market survey, contact and coordinate regarding price as and when required.
  • Unit Price Confirmation (UPC) following Bangladesh Bank guideline and relevant rules regarding supply chain.
  • Execute all OpEx items procurement in an efficient and cost-effective way.
  • Negotiate with all asset related vendors to procure OpEx items.
  • Proper vendor management, smooth delivery, quality checking, vendor payment.
  • Compliance regarding billing issues.
  • Timely payment and completion of contract, updating the contract execution report.
  • Monthly, weekly, annual reporting regarding bills, audit compliance and other issues.
  • Any other work / responsibility as and when assigned by the supervisor/Management of the Bank.

Educational Requirements:

  • Master's in any discipline from reputed University with No Third Division in academic records.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 03 (three) years relevant working experience in a Bank / Financial Institution / leading corporate or conglomerates.

Knowledge, Competencies and Skills:

  • Smart, Team player, paired with agile mindset and can-do attitude.
  • Good communication skill in Bangla and English.
  • Very good skills in MS Office.
