Key Job Responsibilities:
- Make vendor payments in compliance with the Bank’s internal policy, Laws, Regulations and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Check authorization and validation process and relevant documents before processing the payment and doing the system-entry
- Make regular payments, such as, utility bills, staff travel expense, petty cash replenishment, staff advances and reimbursements
- Ensure document sufficiency of related vouchers and preserve those for creating future audit trail
- Perform proper calculations, reconciliations and arithmetics to ensure overall sanity of related GLs
- Comply with the accrual concept of accounting including the right selection of heads of accounts and deduct direct and indirect taxes, security money, as applicable, while making the payments
- Perform other tasks as assigned by his or her supervisor.
Educational Requirements:
- Master’s in Business Discipline from any leading university, with no third division in academic records
- Part qualification in professional degree will be an added advantage, but not mandatory.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 1 (One) to 3 (Three) year(s) of relevant working experience in Banks/leading NBFIs/leading Corporates or MNCs.
Knowledge, Competencies and Skills:
- Intermediate knowledge in excel and word
- Relevant knowledge of accounting standard and local taxation
- Very good communication skill in Bangla and English.
