Position: Officer / Senior Officer-Site Acquisition and Maintenance

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the site selection and acquisition process and assess the technical feasibility of the project in line with the business requirement and within the compliance framework
  • Monitor, follow-up and implement infrastructure related projects and liaise with the procurement department and relevant officials of the Bank and the Central Bank  
  • Assist in the preparation of the Board and management memos and take necessary approvals
  • Prepare lease Agreements and renewals along with the legal vetting as per the bank’s requirement
  • Disseminate all office circulars, management instructions and memos as and when required
  • Support infrastructure and asset related maintenance works of the Bank, both technical and general part
  • Manage all legal affairs relating to all establishments, infrastructures and other assets
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the premises including the management of the related vendors
  • Ensure the functionality and smooth operation of all assets, both electrical and mechanical
  • Monitor and supervise all civil and interior works during the dismantling, construction and refurbishment
  • Make work schedules and supervise the works of the electricians and related vendors
  • Keep the logbook of generator and fuel usage and related maintenance works
  • Negotiate with the related outsourcing companies and suppliers while procuring goods and services
  • Facilitate dialogues and conversations with related stakeholders on different issues
  • Prepare MIS as per the bank’s requirement.

Educational Requirements:

  • BSc in Engineering (EEE/ME) Discipline from any leading university, with no third division in academic records.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 (Three) years’ of relevant working experience in Banks/NBFIs or leading corporate or conglomerates.

Knowledge, Competencies and Skills:

  • Intermediate knowledge in excel and word, PowerPoint, Auto CAD
  • Relevant knowledge of premises shifting and contingency plan of project
  • Very good communication skill in Bangla and English.

Other requirements:

  • Should be ready for extensive travel within the country
