Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices (Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet Region). CB is implementing 94 on-going projects covering 200 Upazilas focusing on six main priorities i.e i) Social Welfare for Vulnerable Communities (SWVC), ii) Education and Child Development, iii) Nutrition and Health Education, iv) Disaster Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Food Security (ECFS), and vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples.

Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is looking for suitable candidate for an immediate appointment a Liaison Officer under SWVC sector at Caritas Central Office.

Details of Position:

Role of Responsibilities:

• Liaise and network with the various government officials, local govt. institutions, and local, national and international NGO representatives, financial institutions, national and international companies, business institutions, etc. 
• Represent Caritas Bangladesh in different meetings of government, INGO, NGOs and network forums of street children.
• Develop and foster relationships with national, international, private business organizations/ companies, financial institutions/banks for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funding for improving life of street children and their families.
• Collect, analyze, and utilize data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the relationship with the business and the other entity.
• Contribute to development of newsletter, progress reports, IEC materials, etc.
• Pay field visits to DICs, Night shelters for street children and discuss with different stakeholders.

Required Educational Qualification:

• Master in any subject, preferably in Public Relation

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position for the candidate who has Master in Public Relation.
• Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in similar position for the candidate who has Master in other subject than Public Relation.

Other Requirements:

• Should have high level of competence with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, composing English and Bangla etc., is essential.
• Should be self-driven and positive to work in a team.

• Should have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Shows persistence when faced with difficult problems or challenges.

Required Languages: Strong written and oral command in English/Bangla is required.
