| Position Title: Community Facilitator  Project: USAID's  Women Thrive in Bangladesh (Thrive) Activity  Location: Based in Gazipur, Ashulia-Savar, Narayangonj and Chattogram. Duration:  Duration of the contract will be up to March 31, 2025.

The Thrive project under the dignified work program    is funded by USAID and PVH envisions to economically empower women by    creating decent work and ensuring a life of dignity. It specifically aims to    enhance skills, leadership, and collective action of female workers in RMG    and informal sector for greater security of life and livelihoods, increase    resilience of women workers and their communities to adapt to and recover    from COVID-19 related impact on life and essential services and increase    responsiveness of institutions to address impact of COVID-19 and gender    equality in the world of work. It will reach around 100,000 women in Dhaka,    Gazipur, Ashulia, Savar, Narayangonj and Chittagong for creating decent work    opportunities.  CARE is currently    looking for Community Facilitator for Women Thrive in Bangladesh Activity    Project to conduct and supervise community and center based activities at the    ground. CARE’s approach is designed to ensure that partnerships with targeted    stakeholders include workers’ voices and influence business plans and    practices, by building a cadre of competent and experienced women worker leaders.    Dignified Work for All will promote the wellbeing of women workers by    strengthening their capacities and increasing the leadership, representation    and voice of women in Bangladeshi industry and society. The Community Facilitator will responsible    for organizing and conducting training, men and boy engagement sessions,    campaign, day observations, GBV service linkage and networking with local    trade union and federations. she/he will support to the EKATA Facilitators    for smooth and effective implementation of Information Center based    activities. The incumbent keep the close contact with community stakeholders,    GBV survivors, couples, local leaders, LGIs, partner NGOs and other related    stakeholders to mobilize them through facilitation to establish women    friendly spaces as well as strengthening GBV services through the    improvements in referral services in Gazipur. She/he will assist to the    Technical Coordinators and Technical Officer for EKATA and Community    Mobilization in planning, designing, training facilitation and networking at    the ground.     |

                Mobilize the community level with a different    type of stakeholders enabling to implement of the project intervention in the    community level.Participate in the Monthly EKATA Reflective    session of respective communities. Organizing and conducting men and boy    engagement sessions and community based training activities;Organize mass campaigns, day observations    and support for GBV service linkageSupport to the EKATA Facilitators and    Community Worker Associations for greater voice, leadership and    representation of women workers;Frequent field visits and rapport building    with women workers and stakeholders;Sharing objectives of the project with    women and community members;Establishing EKATA Information Center with    the support from community;Facilitate different sessions with women,    men, couples and other stakeholders;Arrange and facilitate campaign activities    engaging the community; Organize learning and sharing events at the    information center;Make positive linkage/relationships with    all community stakeholders and sensitize them on Women Thrive initiatives and    engage them in different activities.  |         |

                Mapping of         service provider organizations;Identify and         assist GBV survivors with proper referral services;Effective         social mobilization to influence stakeholders to take proactive actions         in empowering women through EKATA model.Create regular         communications with local service providers (health, legal, financial,         federation), and link with Community Worker Associations.Link with         other local possible resources, network and establish a smooth referral         system for GBV survivorsSupport to the         EKATA Facilitators for smooth and effective organization and         facilitation of EKATA sessions and training. |            |

                Build linkage         and partnership with local Trade Union, Federations and formal and         informal sectors workers for greater voice and representation.Support to         build partnerships with local service providing organizations for easy         and equitable access to basic services (health, legal, Federation,         financial).Ensure         logistics and materials for smooth and timely implementation of         community based activities. Documents         innovations, lessons and best practices at the community. |     |

            | Qualification:  |

                At least 2 - 3 years of inclusive working experience in the development sector. Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline. Ability to team building and can perform well under    pressure. Proven track-record of working in the community people    especially with marginalized groups particularly women.Strong facilitation background including participatory    planning, organizing and community mobilization. Ability to coordinate with project partners,    counterparts and other stakeholders.Good understanding on Gender.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Computer proficiency in MS words, MS-Excel, MS Access,    MS PowerPoint.Ensure and Promote GEDI and be GEDI sensitive, creating    an enabling environment where diversity can flourish and all staff and    stakeholders experience inclusion and appreciation.CARE Core Competencies as noted below: |
