Job Context:

Canada Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CanCham Bangladesh) is a non-profit, member-based organization founded in 2005. It promotes bilateral trade and business relations between Canada and Bangladesh, along with the wider Indo-Pacific region. The Executive Director will lead the Chamber`s operations and strategic direction in collaboration with the “Board of the Directors” and stakeholders, including the Government of Canada and the High Commission of Canada in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead overall operations and strategic planning of the Chamber.
  • Organize and manage local and international networking events, seminars, and conferences.
  • Develop and manage the Chamber’s annual budget and ensure financial transparency.
  • Serve as the primary contact point with government bodies, embassies, business leaders, and partner chambers.
  • Work closely with Canadian government agencies to support Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy.
  • Represent the Chamber at national and international forums and media engagements.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business
  • [IBA, Dhaka University, University of Dhaka, North South University, American International University Bangladesh, BRAC University ]students will get preference

Skills Required: Research, International Relation, Social research, Business Research, Development Research, Foreign Trade, Policy Making, Public Speaking and Presentation, diplomatice approach, International Trade and Market Trends

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    • Multinational Companies,Public Relation Companies,Embassies/Foreign Consulate,Law Firm,Research Organization,Chamber

Additional Requirements

  • Age 40 to 55 years
