The role holder will support Christian Aid’s development programme in Bangladesh with special focuses on monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning interventions. S/he will support the "Expanding Civic Space through Active CSO Participation and Strengthened Governance System in Bangladesh (ECSAP)" project, which is co-funded by the European Union and implemented by Christian Aid in collaboration with its partners across Bangladesh. The role holder will support partners and assist in the implementation of activities and MEAL Strategy and Plan in Development Programme in Bangladesh. The role holder will mentor partners and conduct participatory monitoring activities with partners including assessments. Ensure the high quality and the accurance of data collection (using hard and software tools). Analyse the information and timly reporting on line with project and sectoral activities timeline. Provide regular feeback on project progress, monitoring, accontbaility and learning obervations and findings. Provide technical guidance while overseeing MEAL activities at field level.
About you
You have experience working with a diverse portfolio of partners/consortiums in the development context. You have experience meeting the compliance and reporting requirements of institutional donors and your expertise on reporting, documentation, and assessment, and skills on media mobilisation, inclusion, gender and accountability. You are competent in the use of various planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning tools and methodologies can strengthen partner capacity. The post holder should have a first degree in social sciences or Degree in Economics, Statistics, Development Studies with 3 years’ experience of working in development projects with local and/international partner organizations.
