Job Title: Waiter (F&B Services)

Vacancy: 04

Location: Cumilla.         

Educational: HSC or SSC

Age: 20-25 years

Experience:  2-year experience in the same service in a reputed restaurant.

Job Nature: Full Time Contractual. But there are strong possibilities to be permanent in the future on the basis of skills and attitudes.  

Salary: 14,000

Job Context: The primary component of this role is to maintain F&B services teams in performing food serving.

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming the customers in appropriate manner.
• Introducing customers to the menu and announcing daily or seasonal menu specials.
• Answering questions about menu items, ingredients and pricing.
• Taking customers' orders for food and drink by writing them on a ticket, entering them into a tablet, or memorizing them.
• Passing customer orders along to kitchen staff for preparation.
• Preparing drinks and serves to customers.
• Collecting food orders from the kitchen, verifies that they are correct, and serves them to customers.
• Ensuring that customers are satisfied with their meals and processing orders for additional courses if necessary.
• Removing used dishes, glasses, and flatware from tables.
• Processing cash and credit card payments and returning changes to customers if necessary.
• Setting tables with dishes, glasses, and flatware and refills condiments.
• Maintaining familiarity with menu items, specials, and restaurant information.
• Meeting with managers and wait staff daily or regularly in order to learn about menu changes and specials as well as discussing upcoming reservations and customers with special needs.
