Job Title: Head Chef

Vacancy : 01

Location: Cumilla

Education: Diploma in Food production.   

Age: 35-45 years

Experience:  5-year working experience as a Chef in a reputed restaurant.

Job Nature: Full Time Contractual. But there are strong possibilities to be permanent in the future on the basis of skills and attitudes.  

Salary: 40,000

Job Context: The primary component of this role is to lead and manage cooking teams.

Responsibilities:

• Directing kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and cleanup.
• Assigning tasks; supervising other chefs and cooks in the preparation and presentation of food.
• Maintaining control of the kitchen to ensure that all tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively.
• Resolving issues as they arise so that customers continue to receive their orders in a timely manner.
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene regulation by all kitchen staff and waiters for a clean and sanitary kitchen.
• Planning menus as well as setting prices with adjustments if needed, based on the availability of ingredients.
• To inspect raw and cooked food items to guarantee that the highest quality products are prepared and served to the customers.
• Collaborating with the general manager and owner to align kitchen operations with the overarching goals of the establishment.
• Directing monthly inventory.
• Recruiting, hiring and training chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff.
• Maintaining kitchen equipment; scheduling repairs and additional maintenance as needed.
