An opportunity has arisen within the Press & Communication Unit (PCU) team to join us as Communications Officer - Digital at the British High Commission Dhaka. PCU is responsible for the UK Government’s external communications in Bangladesh, and for supporting delivering of the UK Government’s strategic priorities in Bangladesh and in the region. The successful applicant will create high-quality digital content for British High Commission Dhaka’s social media channels and official website. You will work as the primary photographer, videographer and video editor of the Press and Communications Unit of BHC Dhaka. You will help manage BHC Dhaka's social media channels and ensure timely and accurate publication of content. You will write creative, engaging and accurate social media and web content both in Bengali and English. You will monitor social media trends and emerging topics and help generate new ideas. You will also ensure all social media channels of BHC Dhaka have regular content flow. The incumbent must also have a positive, friendly, can-do attitude and be a team player.
