Position : General Manager (Production/Operation)
Qualification : B.Sc in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)/ Masters in any subject.
Experience :
- Minimum 10-15 years work experience in production of cables and conductors both LV and MV using newer technologies in any reputed Cable Manufacturing Industry as similar position or Unit Head.
- The experience of Extra High Voltage Cables Manufacturing will be added as advantage.
- Be knowledgeable of safety, product quality, testing, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes,
- Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
- Computer literacy
- Skilled engineer retiring from the Govt. Power Sector organization having experience on 132 – 230 – 400 KV Cable connectivity system & jointing, having idea of all types of Cables & Conductor with overseas training and have visited cable factories abroad. Such applicant can be considered specially on contractual basis with very attractive salary package.
Responsibilities :
- Production - planning, management, quality control, output, delivery schedules
- Maintenance of plant and equipment
- Procurement of raw materials and inputs (mostly imported)
- Management of labour and staff, Stores management
- Management of capital programs including specifications of machinery and procurement of the same
- Development of budgets and plans
- Development of new products and markets and the overall strategy of the company going forward
