Search for Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

We are searching for a competent candidate to add value to this role in financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • To support in preparation and co-ordinate of annual planning exercise of the University
  • To prepare and report on quarterly financial performance & estimates along with insightful variance analysis both at the Department and University level
  • To prepare School, Department & Centre wise performance and variance analysis with insightful commentaries, working closely with the Schools, Departments & Centers
  • To support the management with the due diligence requirements of the finance or grant providers
  • To support in preparation of adhoc reports for Senior Management, FC & BoT as & when required
  • To provide extended support to the other FLT members and their team as & when required
  • To play the role of any other Financial Planning and Analysis team member in his/her absence

Requirements

  • MBA/Post Graduation in accounting or finance from reputed university and with excellent academic credentials
  • Should be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the relevant field
  • Advanced user of MS Excel and MS Power point
  • Strong interpersonal skills and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Bangla and English
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues is essential
  • Experience of using initiative and creativity to resolve problems, identifying suitable solutions and opportunities for improvement
  • Methodical approach to work and high level of attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to work and positive response to changing requirements
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and service areas
