Senior Manager, Visual Communications, BRAC International

With a strong commitment to innovation, BRAC International seeks a Senior Manager – Visual Communications to join our dynamic communications team. As the design lead at BRAC International, he/she will have the opportunity to shape our visual identity and play a crucial role in creatively communicating our mission to the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as design lead and main visual design point of contact for all project teams and related entities.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the visual communications strategy.
  • Accountable for the visual appearance and the execution of entire creatives for projects.
  • Serve as a mentor for new and existing designers.
  • Execute different design styles with original, innovative solutions and attention to details.
  • Create and manage a functional visual style guide/library.
  • Manage the design process, drives decisions, tracks issues, and assists in estimating resource needs and schedules.
  • Partner with UX designers to ensure brand consistency throughout digital experiences and external-facing media.
  • Lead visual design projects with external agencies and freelancers to ensure a consistent brand experience.

Safeguarding

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Graphics Design or other related fields.

Required Competencies:

  • Ability to manage and mentor other designers, give constructive feedback.
  • Must be a self-starter who will bring original ideas and fresh approaches to each project they work on.
  • Experience leading design and conceptualization of interactive design projects.
  • Experience building brand visuals from inception to completion.
  • Team player who is willing and able to work cross functionally.
  • Highly proficient with Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar position
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Design

Employment type: Regular/contractual.

Salary: Negotiable.

Job Location: BRAC International Dhaka Office, Bangladesh.
