BRAC International (BI) is seeking application from competent, dynamic and self-motivated individuals to fill the following position:

Assistant Manager, Executive Director’s Office

The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support and assistance to the BRAC International’s Executive Director’s Office in different capacities such as, scheduling calls, meetings, administrative activities, travel, internal and external events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Executive Director’s office systems, including data management, reporting and filing
  • Manage Executive Director’s meeting schedules, appointments and travel
  • Screen Executive Director’s internal and external communications
  • Organize and maintain Executive Director’s office diaries and making appointments
  • Manage Executive Director’s everyday calendar setting up (meeting with BRAC in-country staff, country representatives, co-workers) to coordinate various meetings
  • Prioritize and manage Executive Director’s multiple purpose daily tasks simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
  • Follow strictly the confidentiality and sensitivity of Executive Director’s information related to BRAC International management
  • Assist the Executive Director with all other related assigned tasks
  • Delegate news and information to BRAC directors and BRAC International management as per Executive Director’s instructions
  • Arrange meeting schedules, appointments and travel for all the Directors of BRAC International
  • Provide support to BRAC International communication, admin and other department’s need as per request
  • Adhere to BRAC International’s vision, mission and policies

Others (Safeguarding):

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Development Studies/English/Business Administration or another relevant field. A Level and O level will be of added advantage.

Required Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • Must be a strong team player and reflects a positive & assertive mindset, act as a change agent
  • Flexible to work in different time zones
  • Ability to work across cultures, with external stakeholders, international colleagues, etc.
  • Curious, eager to learn with an interest in organisational development.

Experience Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in secretarial functions from any reputed organisation preferably in multinational company or NGO.
