BRAC International is seeking application from competent, dynamic and self-motivated individuals to fill the following position:

Project Manager, IT, BRAC International

The purpose of this position is to ensure the project/s are on schedule and budget. The position will also ensure project management life cycle is being followed into the entire project until it is delivered. S/he will manage and ensure project management best practices, standards and processes are being followed as set by the project management team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
  • Design, develop and implement the project management best practices that suitable for managing special projects and ensure that project compliances are strictly followed.
  • Provide strong leadership in a complex and matrix projectile environment to promote project management best practices in order to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure that the project resources have the relevant skills, knowledge and tools and they are practicing the guidelines and liaise with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Direct the project team to manage the project scope, budget and schedule.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate project governance, systems, tools and techniques.
  • Ensure project milestones and deliverables documents are built with high standards and level of details captured all the business requirements and information recorded in both electronic and hard copy meets with internal and external audit standards.
  • Monitor and report on project budgets across the portfolio at stakeholder and Sponsor levels.
  • Identify and assemble risk management plans and work effort documents and follow project management standards to manage projects throughout the project lifecycles.
  • Focus on BRAC International AOP objectives, budgeting activities and key deliverables.

Others (Safeguarding):

  • Establish a safeguarding culture across all levels of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Educational Requirements:

  • MSc in Computer science Information technology or MBA majoring in Finance/Accounts/Project Management.
  • PMP / Prince2 Agile certification is preferred.

Required Competencies:

  • Extensive knowledge on project management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Advance Knowledge of the skills, tools and techniques of project management framework (PMI or Prince2 Agile).
  • Breadth (not depth) in specific application/industry knowledge.
  • Strategic in the approach that aligns with organizational mission, vision and goals: comprehends and addresses inter-enslavements and real issues.
  • Experience managing deliverables and milestones: on time/within budget/meeting business needs.
  • Ability to monitor, control and manage troubled teams/projects and bring them to success.
  • Proven experience with projects of similar size and scope.
  • Organized and efficient in work processes.
  • Managed at least five implementations of ERP/ EPM tools in multi-national organizations.

Experience Requirements:

  • Having minimum 7- 8 years of proven experience.
