Manager, Trade Operations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for Trade Operations related issues for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing prompt response to incoming query/mail that is initiated by internal/external stakeholders and allocated the transaction to the concerned processing team.
  • Monitoring and following up on end-to-end transaction flow for Service Level Agreement adherence and improving Turn Around Time.
  • Notifying the Priority Trade clients of transaction completion through mail.
  • Resolving client inquiries, complaints, and escalations to concern Relationship Managers /Transaction Banking Team for any exception.
  • Providing necessary registers, updates, and data as required by clients and relationship units.
  • Providing proactive support, advisory services and guidance to clients on trade-related matters.
  • Regular client visits along with Relationship/ Transaction Banking team for service requirements, feedback, and advisory services for any complex/customized transactions.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to address client needs effectively.
  • Maintain daily transaction log and circulate the delayed transactions processing/client query at the day-end to concern relationship team and TD team.
  • Acting as Trade Transaction Owner for end-to-end transactions for priority target clients.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a reputed university with satisfactory academic record. A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Bank Management or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 6-10 years’ experience in a Bank or Non-Bank Financial Institution.
  • Sound Banking knowledge in Import, Export & Bank Guarantee Transactions.
  • Good computer skills (MS Word, MS XL, Power point).
  • Trade certifications will be an added advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive and energetic.
  • Customer-centric, self-motivated, a team player, and capable of meeting deadlines.
