BRAC Bank seeks an ambitious, intelligent, purpose-driven, and enthusiastic individual for the following position in its SME Banking Division:

Associate Manager, SME Strategy and New Business

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with local and international multi-lateral organizations, development partners, and impact investors to find potential business scope.
  • Prepare concept notes, proposals, and pitch decks for different projects with international development organizations aligned with business needs and development goals.
  • Extend day-to-day support for negotiation, onboarding, and compliance processes related to special projects.
  • Monitor and track global development trends in financial inclusion innovation, and SME business related to gender-gap, promotion of smart agriculture and climate change etc.
  • Oversee end-to-end project cycle including (but not limited to) budgeting, fund utilization, impact tracking, and reporting.
  • Maintain various project documentation and records to be compliant with different international development partners and bank’s internal controls.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful project execution and implementation.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from reputed university with satisfactory academic record.
  • Two years of experience in project management with international development agencies.
  • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh’s financial inclusion, SME landscape & development sector ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication and proposal-writing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with impact assessment, M&E, and ESG reporting is a plus.
  • Proficient in customer-centricity, self-propelled, and capable of meeting deadlines.
