BRAC Bank seeks an ambitious, intelligent, purpose-driven, and enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Treasury & Financial Institutions Division:

Senior Manager, Asset-Liability Management

Employment Type: Full-time Grade: AVP/FAVP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the growth and sustainability of the Bank’s assets and liabilities through analysis of balance sheet; provide recommendations to enhance efficiency, growth & diversification.
  • Monitor key ALM indicators to generate insights and propose recommendations to ALCO & Board; ensure regular ALM related reporting to regulators and other stakeholders.
  • Manage liquidity and market risk of the bank; formulate and upgrade policies regarding liquidity & market risk areas.
  • Understand the economic trends, market dynamics, industry competition, and potential growth areas for business expansion; contribute to market outlook views and align balance sheet with changing conditions.
  • Prepare and present ALCO papers with recommendations on business strategies and market trends; ensure the implementation of the actions taken in ALCO meeting.
  • Articulate interest rate views and policy of the bank (Deposit, Loan & Fund Transfer Process) drive the stakeholders to maximize profitability while ensuring optimal liquidity.
  • Collaborate with internal and regulatory audit teams to ensure all ALM processes meet regulatory & audit standards; prompt implementation of recommendations.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post Graduation/Graduation from a UGC-approved university with a satisfactory academic track record preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Bank Management/ Engineering
  • Professional Certification (e.g. CFA, CERM, FRM) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience, preferably in Treasury / Finance/ Risk Management/ Research
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Expert in customer centricity, self-propelled and team player.
