Associate Manager, Database Administration Services

Employment Type: Full-time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for performing regular Database Administration (DBA) activities in Oracle, MSSQL Server and MySQL platforms.
  
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, up-gradation, troubleshooting and maintenance of database platform.
  
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of Security, High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
  
• Tune all database instance components, including SQL and PL/SQL code.
  
• Implementation and troubleshooting of database backup/recovery related issues.
  
• Ensure regular database monitoring and health check.
  
• Ensure regular capacity, performance reporting of database environment.
  
• Ensure regular database related deployments and releases.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree from a reputed university with a satisfactory academic track record. Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or a similar discipline is preferred.
  
• Minimum of 2 to 6 years in relevant field.
  
• Certification on Database Administration track (Oracle/MSSQL Server/MySQL) is preferred;
  
• Multitasking, prioritization, time management and teamwork skills in large teams.
  
• Passionate about learning and taking challenges.
  
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skill, analytical skills/problem-solving/conceptual thinking
  
• Be customer-centric, a team player, self-propelled, disciplined, and capable of meeting deadlines.
