BRAC Bank is currently looking for an ambitious, intelligent, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Corporate Banking Division:

Relationship Manager/Senior Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking

Employment Type: Full-time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Onboard new business relationships with the bank as per the risk appetite and credit policy.
  • Maintain quality of the existing portfolio and ensure maximization of potential from the relationship.
  • Achieve financial and non-financial targets.
  • Meet regularly with customers to assess financial needs, conditions, and opportunities/risks facing the customer business; work with the team to ensure they do the same.
  • Work closely with the team to structure robust credit facilities for the relationship.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate deal pipeline.
  • Ensure portfolio pricing generates an appropriate return on risk-weighted assets both at a customer level and portfolio level.
  • Ensure detailed client plans for all customers in the segment, recording objectives, and plans and call reports.
  • Keep abreast of external factors influencing international business, e. g. economic, cultural, geographical, and procedural.
  • Establish an effective working relationship with the risk management team to validate the accuracy of the customer risk profile and ensure sustainable asset growth.
  • Continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, take account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology; additionally, they will ensure to effectively manage sales suitability, money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, fraud, and reputational risk.
  • Ensure a quality service for all customers by owning customer engagement, ensuring service excellence at all times.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation or master’s degree from any reputed university preferably in Finance / Accounting / business management or relevant field. MBA and/or CFA (level II onwards) will be preferred.
  • At least 8-10 years of working experience in relationship management in the large corporate segment of the Corporate Banking division of a bank.
  • Proven track record of onboarding new customers and cross-selling propositions
  • Proficient in Knowledge for preparing credit proposal, financial analytics, risk parameters, industry knowledge etc.
  • Proficient in Knowledge of Banking Fundamentals, Products & Processes, Compliance & Fraud Prevention, Relationship Management & Business Communication
  • Self-propelled, proficient in customer-centricity, team player, and capability to meet deadlines.
