Manager/Senior Manager, Transaction Banking

Employment Type: Full-time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be part of the digital roadmap and responsible for ensuring security into the development/acquisition of applications/integration/FinTech initiatives.
  • Work closely in technology projects to threat model, vulnerability scan, and pen test the software, system, and network architecture and identify required control points in the application stack.
  • Diagnose, document, and remediate application and database security vulnerabilities.
  • Secure code review and ensure database security. Provide 360 risk assessments and cyber security briefings and advise on critical issues that may affect cyber security objectives.
  • Conduct technical in-depth security analysis of systems to identify gaps, find remediation and recommend, integrates, and maintains security tool sets.
  • Vetting any application changes to ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank guidelines and as per process & standard.
  • Support the development of the DRP and BCP for systems, and test readiness.
  • Evaluate and recommend cyber security products, services, and/or procedures to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
  • Maintain awareness of cyber trends, threats, and vulnerabilities.
  • Periodic application review to ensure whether the system is performing well in line with compliance, fulfilling business requirement.
  • Review User Access Control & vetting Privilege Management of the system.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Business from a reputed UGC approved university with a satisfactory academic track record.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a similar or associated or transaction banking field in a reputed bank or, brokerage house or, merchant bank is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to build and maintain a professional relationship with internal and external customers.
  • Adequate knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Conceptual understanding of different kind of existing capital market products and solutions.
  • Sound understanding of existing digital banking platforms & tools.
  • Conversant in both Bangla and English communication.
  • Self-propelled, proficient in customer-centricity, team player, and demonstrated capability to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Good command over Microsoft Office software package.
