BRAC Bank is currently looking for an ambitious, intelligent, goal-oriented and enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Finance Division:

Associate Manager, Business Planning & Analysis, Finance Division

Employment Type: Full-time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for annual budgeting of respective divisions and translating budgets into key cost and revenue drivers, and making a scenario-based forecast on a rolling basis.
  • Spot and assess industry news, trend, and regulatory changes and factor those into making a response plan.
  • Ensure timely production and circulation of regular and ad-hoc MIS and reports to the management committee, board, and business managers to drive business, monitor, and assess the performance.
  • Provide monthly variance reports (budget-actual and month-on-month) to budget controllers, investigate and highlight the reasons for deviations and identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement options.
  • Team up with technology and operations to ensure data accuracy, resolve system issues, and develop new reporting tool/data dump in pace with the changes in business objectives and organizational structure.
  • Work in various ad-hoc and cross-functional projects assigned by the management.
  • Supply data and information in weekly and ad-hoc business meetings, put forward management and financial agenda, if any, and facilitate decision-making through a consultative process.
  • Give pre-alerts to functional managers on the deterioration of business, product profitability, customer profitability, portfolio quality, cost over-run, revenue slippage, and work together with respective managers to bring things back on track.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters / Bachelor’s degree from a reputed UGC-approved university with a satisfactory academic track record.
  • Minimum two years of working experience in relevant role.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle ERP will be an added advantage.
  • Possess analytical skills, be data-driven in decision making.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-propelled, proficient in customer-centricity, team player, and capable of meeting deadlines.
