BRAC Bank is currently looking for a number-driven, digitally savvy, intelligent, goal-oriented, enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Technology Division:

Associate Manager/Manager, Research and Development, Core Banking Application, Technology

Employment Type: Full-time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop algorithm, solution, and integration of biometric devices with financial applications;
  • Develop microservice-based applications having integration with the Core Banking Solution;
  • Develop API and integration with middleware and core banking;
  • Develop and implement robotic-based solutions and independent mobile applications;
  • Write quality, performant, and conceivable clean code; 
  • Understanding business requirements, specifically Banking/Financial business domain, and designing solutions based on those;
  • Lead the IT and Digital technologies services team and coordinate the application portfolio with core banking;
  • Ensure that the in-scope application stack is patched promptly and maintain compliance with internal and external regulations;
  • Ensure system, application, and BAU support to relevant application stakeholders.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate from a reputed institution with a satisfactory academic track record, preferably from CSE or a relevant field.
  • 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in the banking or digital financial service industry
  • Sound knowledge in Software architecture design, development lifecycle, and methodology.
  • Vast knowledge and experience in mobile application development platforms.
  • Knowledge of integration with Fintech Applications (Core Banking, Agent Banking, Middleware, ERP, etc.)
  • Experience in microservice-based development will add value
  • Problem-solver, team player, proactive and passionate attitude
  • Be customer-centric and self-propelled.
