Associate Manager/Manager, Transaction Monitoring, AMLD

Employment Type: Full-time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in ongoing AML Transaction Monitoring through various exception reports;
  • Assist in identifying suspicious transactions/activities (STR/SAR) while reviewing different transaction monitoring reports;
  • Assist in formulation and maintenance of Transaction Monitoring MIS and reporting to relevant forums;
  • Assist in formulation and review of processes, policies, and review forms;
  • Communicate with relevant units and the business regarding STRs, compliance reviews, investigations, as well as other Ad hoc projects;
  • Conduct AML/CFT Training for the Distribution Network, relevant customer acquisition channels, and other stakeholders;
  • Communicate with Senior Managers, members of the business, and other monitoring units to ensure incorporating the findings into all aspects of the AML control program.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduation from a reputed university with a satisfactory academic track record;
  • Minimum seven years of banking experience with sound knowledge in account opening, KYC, CDD, EDD, TP, Transaction Monitoring, and Branch operations;
  • Experience in handling regulatory issues and inspection;
  • Well-conversant with BFIU/Bangladesh Bank Circulars and guidelines, Market Risks, Financial Instruments, and Risk Management;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation skills;
  • Good analytical ability and leadership quality;
  • Good command over Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Be a customer-centric, self-propelled team player and capable of meeting deadlines.
