BRAC Bank is currently looking for an ambitious, intelligent, goal-oriented, enthusiastic individual for the following position in its SME Banking Division

Business Development Manager

Employment Type: Full Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and assist SME Liability Sales team members with the appropriate product, process, and risk-related knowledge;
  • Assist in developing area / industry-based SME deposit acquisition and growth strategies;
  • Achieve assigned deposit business target and ensure proper deposit mix to achieve profitability target;
  • Directly interact with the Unit Head of Sales and channel partners to drive SME deposit growth of the bank;
  • Monitor SME Liability Sales / Liability Business team through visits, meetings, MIS, and analytics, and report to respective line managers for development;
  • Assist channels to resolve operations issues related to SME Liability;
  • Assist SME Cash Management team to build and manage clients;
  • Ensure periodic SME deposit projection and assist the Unit Head of Sales in following up on the progress;
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of daily sales reports;
  • Communicate with Business Finance and SME BI and Analytics team for reports and prepare necessary analytical reports for senior management;
  • Strengthen relationships with all relevant stakeholders;
  • Identify issues hindering Business Growth and communicate/propose a solution with/to relevant stakeholders.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree from a UGC-approved university with a satisfactory academic track record;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Pro-active, problem solver, and positive attitude;
  • Be self-propelled, customer-centric, team player, and capable of meeting deadlines;
