Trade Finance Analyst - Emerging Corporate, SME Banking Division

Job Location: Anywhere in Bangladesh

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and contribute to regional non-funded business growth through close association with relationship team;
  • Prepare non-funded business loan proposals and necessitate relevant documents from relationship teams and identify the credit risks and subsequent mitigation;
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of day-to-day, non-funded transactions and work with different stakeholders;
  • Analyze and evaluate loan proposals bank's lending policies and regulatory guidelines;
  • Manage and maintain risk management requirements in underwriting proposals; 
  • Prepare, construct, and analyze financial statements of business loan applicants in diversified local industries;
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of day-to-day transactions and work with different stakeholders;
  • Conduct existing and prospective client visits and risk assessments of customers;
  • Observe the local market and industry to understand business prospects and associated risks;
  • Knowledge in GFET, import/export policy, TBML, CRM Policy (BRAC Bank and Bangladesh Bank), relevant circulars and guidelines (external and internal), loan documentation, etc.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum graduate from a UGC approved or accredited university;
  • 2-5 years of relevant experiences in branch credit/foreign exchange/centralized trade operations;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • Sound knowledge of foreign exchange, credit policies, and relevant circulars;
  • Analytical skills to assess composite facilities, including trade finance;
  • Knowledge on local business and economic situation depends on nature and area;
  • Strong command over Microsoft Office;
  • Good negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Proficient in customer centricity, self-propelled
