Risk Manager, Small Credit

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive complete loan application from the business team following Bangladesh Bank and BRAC Bank PPG-policy guidelines;
  • Make visits to the customers to identify credit worthiness; Also, visit the guarantor on a case-to-case basis to ensure loan security;
  • Complete a 360⁰ loan analysis, i. e. repayment capacity, loan purpose, financial parameters, seasonality, supplier-buyer relations, CIB report, industry-market trend, and policy compliance;
  • Complete comprehensive credit approval memo and arrange loan approvals as per Delegation of Lending Authority (DLA) of the bank;
  • Ensure standard Turn Around Time (TAT) of CRM Loan Processing;
  • Update CRM MIS according to processing level; keep continuous communication with CRM MIS;
  • Keep effective communication with SME Small Business Team and other stakeholders;
  • Monitor repayments of loan portfolio of linked SME Unit Offices and relationship officers;
  • Monitor repayments of loan portfolio that relates as analyst and approver.

 KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA/Master’s degree in a relevant field from a UGC-granted university or internationally accredited university;
  • At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in the relevant field;
  • Strong analytical ability to verify and understand Business data, ratios, and trends;
  • Demonstrated ability to apply complex analysis to support real-time business decisions;
  • Proactive in problem solving and stakeholder issue handling;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence peers positively;
  • Proficient in customer centricity, self-propelled with the ability to learn quickly, solution-driven mentality, and positive attitude in taking the challenging role as required;
