BRAC Bank is currently looking for an ambitious, intelligent, goal-oriented, enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Treasury and FI Division:

Manager, Money Market & Fixed Income

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain mandatory statutory requirements e. g. SLR, CRR, etc;
  • Maintain investment portfolio (fixed income instruments, e. g. govt. securities, corporate bonds, and money market instruments, etc.); 
  • Trading government securities;
  • Manage liquidity using all money market products (call, term, repo, reverse repo, swap, etc.);
  • Build a strong relationship with counterparties (mainly banks & NBFIs);
  • Regular monitoring of major macroeconomic factors, understanding their impact on the interest rate and liquidity situation, accordingly formulate strategies to spot any arbitrage opportunities and take advantage;
  • Run Treasury Balance Sheet within all internal and regulatory limits;
  • Operating within all given balance sheet gap;
  • Maximize profit opportunities;
  • Ensuring audit compliance; 
  • Prepare daily job-related MIS.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate from a well-recognized institute, preferably in a relevant subject;
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience;
  • Any professional degree will be an added advantage;
  • Good conceptual skill in understanding market dynamics;
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills;
  • Good knowledge of economic events;
  • Strong command over Microsoft Office Package;
  • Self-propelled, proficient in customer-centricity, team player, and capable of meeting deadlines.
