Financial Analyst/ Associate Relationship Manager/Relationship Manager, MFI Finance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Explore the market for new Business opportunities and report to the Line Manager for potential leads that fit into the bank’s credit policy;
  • Retain and grow the business of existing good customers through delivering superior customer services, identifying their credit needs, and accommodating facility at the earliest possible time;
  • Monitor account and report any credit risk issue, if any, to the line manager for further course of action;
  • Ensure that customers comply with credit policy, regulatory requirements, and covenant and conditions advised in the sanction letter; 
  • Regular call and visit customer to monitor client’s business performance and maintain an excellent customer relationship;
  • Monitor customers daily transactions and ensure it complies with Banking policy and guidelines;
  • Prepare Agriculture and MFI finance-based report for Bangladesh Bank and other authorities;
  • Manage risks through developing and implementing account strategy and exit recurring overdue accounts and probable classified accounts as per bank’s risk policy;
  • Continuously follow up with customer for maximum limit utilization, timely adjustment & disbursements and ensure collection of all relevant documents and information from customer end to comply with covenant and conditions of the account;
  • Submit credit proposals timely to renew/ review credit limits on time and take an adequate deferral period to complete security documentation of the accounts; 
  • Meet CRM and other departments’ queries through collecting information from the customer if required and also provide different MIS reports to other departments if required;
  • Managing sound relationships with MFI customers and other related stakeholders (external and internal).

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree from reputed a university with good academic records;
  • 2-3 years of exposure in business and credit risk management outspoken and outgoing;
  • Sound knowledge of credit analysis for MFI Finance;
  • Expertise in Financial Statement Analysis and its interpretation; 
  • Capacity to write up business appraisal memo;
  • Proper understanding of credit documents;
  • Capacity to prepare regulatory reporting and other business-related MIS;
  • In-depth industry knowledge of MFIs and Agriculture; 
  • Knowledge of policies and programs of the bank and regulators;
  • Highly interpersonal skills required for good customer relationship management;
  • Capacity to communicate with internal and external stakeholders (outside authorities, development partners and regulators, etc.).
