BRAC Bank is currently looking for ambitious, intelligent, goal-oriented, enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Risk Management Division:

Unit Head - Cyber Threat Intelligence and SOC, Information Security

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute towards the information security vision and programming to include policy creation, training, risk assessment, and security incident response to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected.
• Lead the security operations group, coordination, and operational management of the team.
• Play the role on developing strategy, setting goals, and providing performance and professional development feedback to continually improve the SOC and manage security policies, procedures, and processes.
• Analyze and architect complex solutions to information technology cybersecurity threats that relate to confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and systems.
• Ensure Security Operations (24x7) and monitor and continuously optimize and maintain the configuration of security tools, and ensure data feeds are continually available and trustworthy.  Provide threat and vulnerability analysis and incident reporting.
• Analyze and detect security threats using threat intelligence-based detection, user and attacker behavior analysis.
• Keep abreast of the latest security legislation, regulations, adversaries, alerts, and vulnerabilities
• Analyze and respond to previously undisclosed vulnerabilities. Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate from a reputed university in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science or IT-related fields is required.
• Professional certifications on CFR/C|SA, CEH/CPEH, CPT/LPT, CDFE / CHFI/ LFE, CISM/CISSP/CCISO, CISA/LI27001, PMP/LPM etc. SOC Tools Training/certification (SIEM/SOAR/Threat Intelligence etc.) is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Security as primary responsibility or minimum 12 years of  IT experience (experience on incident monitoring and detection is preferred)
• Technical knowledge on Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), SQL, TCP/IP, computer networking, routing and switching, Programming languages, IDS/IPS, penetration and vulnerability testing, Forensics, Firewall and intrusion detection/prevention protocols, Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems, Network protocols and packet analysis tools, Next-Gen AV, DLP, Email, Storage, Syslog, Windows Server, Identity Access Management
• Prior experience detecting, analyzing, and/or responding to security incidents with a practical understanding of common security threats, attack vectors, vulnerabilities and exploits are a must. Prior Experience as SOC Manager is expected.
• Self-propelled, capability to manage a dynamic team and adaptive to change
• Expert in customer centricity, team player, and keen to develop others
