Senior Manager, Infrastructure Management

Job Location: Anywhere in Bangladesh

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement and manage infrastructure maintenance work all over Bangladesh and drive performance of the Infrastructure Management team to provide support as required by the business and distribution team;
  • Initiate different cost reduction strategies to meet the organizational goal;
  • Prepare budget along with yearly work plan, also monitor expenses and control the budget through departmental MIS;
  • Ensure timely maintenance of equipment to improve the operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems;
  • Allocate workforce and support in staff coaching, communication & reinforcement;
  • Negotiate with all service and maintenance vendors, and evaluate their performances based on the quality of works and commitment; 
  • Adopting and applying new technological changes related to maintenance work and uplifting BBL standards;
  • Monitor old and reusable assets. Conduct the Auction & Destruction process, according to BBL policy, for unusable materials from different premises;
  • Supervise the quotations, specifications & tender works related to maintenance;
  • Oversee the housekeeping/cleaning service of head office & all BBL premises and ensure health safety guidelines;
  • Pledgee to emergency responses during any disaster & crisis situation like a pandemic, fire incident, theft case, etc.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate from a well-recognized institute preferably in a relevant subject;
  • Minimum 8-year experience in relevant field with any reputed organization;
  • General knowledge of power distribution system, Generator & Air Conditioner, building structure, etc;
  • Strong command over Microsoft Office Package;
  • Advert in negotiation skills, vendor management, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Expert in customer centricity, self-propelled and adaptive to change;
  • Team player, capability to lead a dynamic team, and keen to develop others.
