KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the niche yet growing business segment of capital market services which includes custodial services, lead banker, banker to the issue, etc. in the leading commercial bank;
- Explore scopes, set strategies, assess workflows, and devise action plans to achieve objectives on time;
- Run a team of skilled co-workers and keep them engaged;
- Coordinate with different internal and external stakeholders to meet the objectives;
- Foster assigned accounts into main transactional accounts;
- Understand NITA account operating procedure and have the experience to attract foreign portfolio investment;
- Pursue the clients to move them into a digital platform and use digital solutions of the bank that would best fit with specific client’s needs;
- Seek client’s feedback regularly, review them and propose the development of digital channels of the bank by incorporating such market feedback;
- Ensure maximum usage of digital solutions of the bank;
- Understand each client’s transaction needs, provide cost-effective and efficient solutions, and route most of its transactions to the bank;
- Book new-to-bank accounts of the preferred client types of the division;
- Ensure target growth in average deposit balance in the relationship accounts;
- Keep portfolio and operating costs as per the stated objective;
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external banking and relevant regulatory rules and regulations.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate from a reputed institution;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar field will be preferred;
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to maintain a professional relationship with internal and external customers;
- Adequate knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, and guidelines of Bangladesh Bank, Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, and other relevant authorities;
- Conceptual understanding of different kinds of existing capital market and banking products and solutions;
- Sound understanding of existing digital banking platforms and tools;
- Demonstrate a keen interest in the frontiers of digital financial services;
- Self-propelled, ability to work in a team and capability to meet agreed on deadlines;
- Good command over Microsoft Office software package.
