Associate Manager, QA

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing and documenting test plans, test cases, scripts for developed software products involving both back-end processing systems and front-end Web-based GUIs for financial industry;
• Preparing data as required for large volume data validation;
• Executing functional, integration, regression, performance, and resiliency tests for multiple applications/subsystems;
• Establish and track quality assurance metrics;
• Utilize open source or commercial test tools;
• Perform the automation of regression test cases;
• Hands-on experience using automated testing tools;
• Experience with software engineering standards, metrics and QA principles;
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall testing;
• Ensure quality of quarterly software releases.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science (CS) from a reputed university;
• 3 to 6 years solid experience in Quality Assurance. Experience in Financial industry is preferable;
• Experience developing test plans, test cases, and test procedures;
• Experience testing Unix/Linux based applications;
• Experience using testing tools for UI and performance testing;
• Experience using JIRA;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills;
• Able to work under pressure, problem solving & team playing attitude;
• Cando attitude, proactive, passionate;
• Extrovert personality with good communication and interpersonal skill;
• Able to drive delivery and remove road blocker;
• Proficient in customer centricity, team player and capability to meet deadlines.
