Associate Manager/Manager, Transaction Banking

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Closely work with Corporate Business Units, explore scopes and Convert assigned accounts into transactional accounts;
  • Pursue the clients to move them into a digital platform and use digital solutions of the bank that would best fit with specific client’s needs;
  • Regularly seek client’s feedback, review them, and propose the development of digital channels of the bank by incorporating such market feedback;
  • Ensure maximum usage of digital solutions of the bank;
  • Understand each client’s transaction needs, provide cost-effective and efficient solutions, and hence, route most of its transactions to the bank;
  • Book new-to-bank transactional accounts of the preferred client types of the division;
  • Ensure target growth in average deposit balance in the relationship accounts;
  • Keep portfolio cost of deposit as per the stated objective;
  • Ensure compliance with all internal and external banking rules and regulations;
  • Look for and propose new avenues for increasing the division’s deposit portfolio in a cost-effective manner.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate from a reputed institution;
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar field will be preferred;
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to maintain a professional relationship with internal and external customers;
  • Conceptual understanding of different kinds of existing banking products, and solutions;
  • Sound understanding of existing digital banking platforms and tools;
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in the frontiers of digital financial services;
  • Growth mentality with a positive attitude;
  • Proficient in customer centricity, self-propelled, team player and capability to meet deadlines.
