Associate Manager, Loan Documentation - Retail (Home Loan)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure documentation due diligence in line with laid down policy, process and regulations for Home Loans;
  • Review Home Loan files after approval by underwriting Team and inform concerned RM about document deficiency if any;
  • Document regularization for all Retail Loan files before disbursement;
  • Loan Account opening & disbursement at the system level through ensuring customers information;
  • Follow-up of post-disbursement documentation, e.g. withdrawal of original deed from SRO within due time;
  • Assist in preparing the tripartite agreements, mortgage deeds, power deeds and all other legal documents for Home Loan clients as well as bank staffs, as per approved sanction terms in relation with Legal Team;
  • Maintain standard Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the retail business and other departments;
  • Identify and escalate key risk events/exceptions and pursue its mitigation;
  • Conduct system User Acceptance Test of any system as and when required;
  • Delivery of any responsibility, duty, task, project given by supervisor;
  • Identify scope for process changes/developments or automation and share it accordingly;
  • Actively participate in all digitalization initiatives of BRAC Bank;
  • Ensure zero audit findings in the functions.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate from a reputed institution;
  • Sound knowledge on Loan Operational/Relevant activities;
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in Home Loan documentation and other associated jobs;
  • Strong command over Microsoft Office and conceptual understanding of banking/financial software;
  • Proficient in customer centricity, self-propelled and capability to meet deadlines.
