To support its continuous business growth, BRAC Bank is currently looking for an ambitious, smart, goal-oriented, enthusiastic individual in the following position under the Risk Management Division:

Focal point, Sustainable Finance Unit

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain liaison with Bangladesh Bank and access the soft loan window for the clients.
  • Act as the focal point for clientele supervision, MIS and relevant activities for green portfolio management. 
  • Responsible for evaluation of environmental and social risks associated with the lending operations of the Bank and its operations.
  • Meet the organizational deliverables for different multilateral stakeholders and donor agencies. 
  • Ensure organizational capacity by arranging training/capacity development session in terms of environmental & social issues
  • Rollout the environmental and social risks projects, policies within the organization and act under the guidance of the Sustainable Finance Department, Bangladesh Bank
  • Formulate relevant policy/strategies; develop plans to mobilize resources to attain the organizational goal in terms of environmental and social risks.
  • Assist the CSR team to support regulatory reporting and ensure proper implementation of regulatory directives. 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate from a well-recognized institution preferably in a relevant subject
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in the relevant field is mandatory 
  • Ability to lead a dynamic team
  • Expert in customer centricity, ownership & delivering results, integrity, collaboration and developing others
