Chief Technology Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
  • Ensure technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely
  • Responsible for reliable and secured operation of bank from technology perspective.
  • Drive technological transformation to meet digitalization initiatives of the Bank
  • Ensure technological deliveries to meet business and regulatory objectives
  • Follow the compliance in alignment with security and legal perspective
  • Implement standard policy and procedures to ensure best practices are followed
  • Focus on planning, ROI and business cases for technology investments
  • Ensure performance standards and key performance achievements related to technology deliveries
  • Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
  • Ensure and manage supplier and partner relationship
  • Effectively manage staffing, team motivation & resource development
  • Implement new technologies with innovation to yield competitive advantage
  • Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
  • Build quality assurance and data protection processes

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with MBA or other relevant post graduate degree
  • Experience in similar leadership role
  • Exposure to build and manage large technology infrastructure and systems
  • Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
  • Understanding of budgets and business-planning
