Senior Manager – Digital Loan Underwriting

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Explore and implement new digital lending solutions by setting specific timelines;
  • Implement insights gathered from the Business, risk, credit, and collection team;
  • Gather requirements from internal team/ users to create requirements;
  • Document and design process flows;
  • Coordinate with the technology department to deliver functional solutions;
  • Monitor and report on project activities;
  • Ensuring approval and rejection of loan applications based on scorecard decision;
  • Credit Scorecard development and validation for different segments of SME and Retail Business;
  • Monitoring scorecard performance across different sectors;
  • Monitoring the Population Stability, Performance and Vintage Analysis (Delinquency Reports);
  • Establish and govern BBL Risk Management Division data governance implementation roadmap;
  • Setting strategic priorities for the development of information-based capabilities;
  • Roll out BBL Risk Management Division-wide data governance framework, with a focus on the improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate/post-graduate from business background preferably from Finance, Accounting, International Business, Marketing, Economics & Management from any reputed public or private universities of Bangladesh or abroad with a satisfactory academic track record;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field;
  • Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including word, excel, outlook, etc.;
  • Relevant Credit Risk Management qualification will be added advantage;
  • Basic knowledge of Digital Loan Management procedures and practices;
  • Previous experience of using Data Analytics systems e.g. R, Python, SPSS, VBA, etc. will add an advantage;
  • Ability to analyze information for preparation of reports and/or other documentation;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
