Position |

Finance and Administrative Coordinator, Agri-Insurance; Microfinance Programme (Project Staff)
Job Description:
Project Finance
- Oversee day-to-day coordination of financial activities ensuring cost efficiency. Develop and maintain spreadsheets and reports for tracking expenditure and prepare accurate financial reports in a timely manner as required by the project or for donor.
- Reconcile project expenditure with organisational accounts and donor, keep relevant officials and units informed of incoming and outgoing funds
- Provide other supports, as requested, to project lead, project staff, organisational units in financial management of the project.
- Coordinate with field office accounts and support financial operations.
- Provide financial training with strong expertise.
- Collaborate with insurance partners on financial transactions and issues.
- Proficient in ERP and Excel systems; liaise with technical teams for development of financial systems.
- Work closely with central admin & procurement team for any administrative activities for any financial
Transaction
- Facilitate the work of internal and external audits and ensure that financial records are properly maintained and readily available during audit
- Contribute to developing work plans and annual budgets for project activities and field office cost.
Project Administration
- Provide general administrative support to the project- maintain documentation records, schedules and details of project financial transfers and payments, support the preparation of partners / stakeholder’s contracts and liaising with partners / stakeholders on specific administrative requirements
- Maintain a schedule of internal and external reporting deadlines, and ensure that the donor reporting requirements of project related contracts are fulfilled in a timely manner, and that all necessary information required for reports is received from the internal and external partners on time
- Support project staff in the preparation and implementation of project activities.
Logistics Support
- Provide logistical supports to the project, including procurement of goods and services, staff recruitment, arranging trainings, workshops, meetings and events, contracts development management and maintenance of project inventory, travel management, etc.
- Undertaking other duties from time to time as may be required by the project.
- Any other specific areas of responsibilities shall be assigned from time to time by the supervisor and BRAC Head Office Team.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements: Master's in Finance/ Accounting or any other relevant subject from any recognised university.
Experience Requirement: Minimum 3 Years of working experience in Finance and Administration particularly national and international NGO sector will be preferred.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and transparency.
- Excellent skill on Excel & MS Word (Specially for Bangla writeup)
- Very innovative knowledge on preparing PowerPoint presentations.
