Position |

Sector Specialist, Microfinance Lead (Contractual Staff)
Job Description:
- Supervise Extension Officer (EO).
- Develop TOT training module and provide TOT training to EO.
- Assist in formation of fish farmer’s groups and holding group-based yard meetin
- Provide training to farmers on modern methods of fish farming.
- Inform farmers about new technologies related to fish farmin
- Provide fish farming advice to farmers
- Encourage farmers to enroll in Microfinance programmes
- Work with Community Development Officer-claims, Credit Officer-Progress, Branch Manager-claims, Area Manager-claims & progress and Regional Manager-claims & progress to enroll farmers in Microfinance programme
- Connect farmers with better quality feed and hatchery representatives
- Coordinate with government representatives and fisheries office
- Assist the farmers in supplying better quality fish farming equipmen
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements: Post Graduate in Fisheries/ Agriculture/ Marine Science in any recognized institution.
Experience Requirement: 1- 2 years’ experience will be preferable concentrating on fisheries project.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Knowledge on fish cultivation.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Excellent communication, analytical ability & managerial skills
