  Position  

Officer, Microfinance Technology; Microfinance Programme (Project Staff)

Job Description:  

  • Provide software, hardware and network related support & services as Single-Point-of-Contact of technology unit to 50± field offices of the Microfinance Programme.
  • Deliver onsite preventive maintenance support to 50± field offices of Microfinance Programme as per the agreed frequency.
  • Provide initial/primary support & services to all Software Applications and internet connectivity at field offices.
  • Engage in all-round complete support & services, including hardware fixation & replacement to the vast technology infrastructure & device footprints of field offices covering: Desktop, Laptop, TAB, Printer, Scanner, Projector, Modem, SIM, Router, Switch, Access Points and UPS, AVR, IPS, etc.
  • Ensure execution of ad-hoc maintenance & health-check activities towards software, hardware and network.
  • Support and recommend device replacement and spare parts purchasing.
  • Coordinate and interface with software, hardware & network partners to manage warranty & support issues.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects initiated at both Head Office and Field Offices.
  • Facilitate technological knowledge sharing with regional colleagues and stakeholders.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements: Diploma/ Bachelors in CSE/IT/EEE from any recognised university/ institution.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience will be preferable.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Fundamental level knowledge on Software, Software Tools, Microsoft Office Applications, Google Apps & IT Architecture.
  • Fundamental level knowledge on Anti-virus Applications, Data Privacy &Cyber Security.
  • Customer-centric mindset & attitude.
  • Excellent communication, knowledge sharing and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate level knowledge on Operating Systems including Windows, Linux/Unix, Android & IOS.
  • Advanced level skills in troubleshooting computing devices, Recommending spares, Office Equipment, Network Equipment and Power related peripherals.
