Position: Deputy Manager, Director’s Office; Gender Justice and Diversity Programme
About the role:
We are looking for a Manager for our MEAL department. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the coordination and technical support for Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) activities, ensuring alignment with BRAC's MEAL strategy. Additionally, this role involves the development and implementation of MEAL systems, overseeing data collection and reporting, and contributing to programme support.
About the role:
We are looking for a Deputy Manager for our Gender Justice and Diversity (GJD) programme. The Deputy Manager will coordinate office administration, organising records, coordinating the director’s travels, and improving systems. This role also involves overseeing daily operations and serving as a key link between the director and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the director’s schedule, travel arrangements, and communication, ensuring smooth coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate office administration, including event planning, meeting coordination, HR support, and handling procurement, audit, repairs, and inventory for the Gender Justice and Diversity (GJD) Programme.
- Assist with staff matters such as recruitment, onboarding, transfers, resignations, health insurance, and special leave for all GJD staff.
- Act as the point of contact for the GJD programme.
- Organise meetings, workshops, and events, ensuring all logistics, venues, and materials meet programme needs.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements:
- Masters in Business Administration/ Development Studies or any relevant discipline from a recognised university/ institution.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative functions or any relevant field.
Additional Job Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experienced in overseeing and executing administrative operations.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Salary: Negotiable.
