Job Description:
- Support emergency medical care to patients with diverse health conditions, prescribe proper medications, counsel, and dispense upon availability, and ensure referrals when necessary.
- Manage health camps to reach remote and hard-to-reach parts of flood-affected areas.
- Receive and attend patients providing counselling, and health education.
- Identifies high-risk patients, consults with doctors, and refers to tertiary-level hospitals if necessary.
- Prepare daily requisitions of medical supplies and medicines as needed.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of patient profiles.
- Demonstrates gender sensitivity in dealing with patients, community people, and team members.
- Reports any safeguarding issues (e.g. any kind of harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse) that involve patients, team members and other stakeholders.
