Position |
|
Position: Senior Officer, HR Field Operations
JOB PURPOSE:
This position will be responsible for ensuring the proactive deployment and maintenance of Human Resources policies and practices. The role will also provide general day-to-day HR support across the field offices and be accountable for managing the operations of all aspects of HR, including the administration of centralized Human Resources functions.
Multiple positions are available. Positions are district based and outside Dhaka. BRAC wishes to create a pool of suitable applicants for meeting its future requirements as well.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with various programmes or departments in the field offices of BRAC, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
- Liaise with a wide range of people involved in policy areas and ensure its compliance. Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
- Coordinate & organize field based recruitment & selection processes.
- Identify, retain, & develop the talents of field offices by coordinating with the talent management team.
- Involve with the whole process of project staff (PS) & teacher recruitment.
- Involve with the activities related to health insurance matters at field offices.
- Take part in different employer branding initiatives to increase the organizational brand value.
- Participate in and organize different trainings, meetings, and forums in the field offices.
- Ensure, coordinate, and facilitate the onboarding of new staff in field offices.
- Visit the field offices on a regular basis to strengthen rapport with the field staff & build a brand image of HRD
- Ensure on time performance appraisal in a qualitative manner & actively involve the program people to make it effective.
- Work to achieve the best outcome of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) at the field level.
- Involve with internal investigation process (i.e., theft, harassment, etc.).
- Handle complaints and grievance procedures properly.
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to HR activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.).
- Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Requirements |
|
Educational Requirements: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any relevant subject preferably in Business Administration or any related field.
Experience Requirement: Minimum 1-year relevant experience will be given preference.
Additional Job Requirements:

Good knowledge of HR concepts

Problem-solving mindset and collaborative spirit for co-creating and implementing solutions within a team environment.

Proficient in MS Office applications.

Excellent interpersonal, writing, oral presentation, and communication skills (both in Bangla and English)

Expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution

Experience with HR compliance and regulatory requirements

Salary Range : Negotiable
