Purpose:

This position will support the overall programme development, quality assurance, knowledge management, M&E and reporting of the DFAT funded project of the Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme (HCMP).

Job Description:

  • Work closely with the Project Coordinator, Sector/Unit Lead, and Technical colleagues regarding strategy formulation and guidance about Sector/ Programme design and development.
  • Support the Lead and Project Managers with assessed, accurate, verified information that feeds into developing and implementing an appropriate and effective sector  strategy, setting clear objectives and indicators for sector activities in consultation with DAFT funded project staff and where applicable, with the local communities.
  • Facilitate and guide the Sectors M&E team to design, develop, and modify monitoring and evaluation tools and techniques as required.
  • Facilitate compliance-related issues of the Sectors and work closely with programme support functions, e.g. PDDR, Grants, Internal Audit, M&E, Communications etc. to ensure adequate preparation for facing any external/ donor auditor if and when necessary.
  • Find out the quality gaps through close monitoring and technical supervision to ensure the quality of project activities in the DFAT funded project.
  • Facilitate and assist the PDDR team in accelerating and analysing project performance and finding gaps and solutions with standard performance tracking.
  • Coordinate Programme Development and MEAL activities of all Sectors of DFAT funded project and maintain cordial relationships with the respective team of the Sector Lead and Project Managers with effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Sectors of DFAT funded project in HCMP to Programme Design, Development, and Review (PDDR) and Grants team preparing the concept notes and project proposal development, etc.
  • Provide proficient support to the Sector Leads in the report, proposal and concept notes writing of the DFAT funded sector.

Safeguarding

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:  Bachelor/ Masters in Development Studies/ Social Science or any other relevant subject.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 05 years of work experience in Programmed Development & Management, Proposal Development, MEAL of relevant Programme of NGO/ INGO.
