  Position  

Senior Social Compliance Developer, Social Compliance Programme (Project Staff)

Job Description:

  • Analyses capacity development needs of the industry for formulating capacity development programme
  • Builds and manages business relationships with current and potential clients/ factories
  • Develops both short- term and long-term development plans for RMG factories in line with client needs and BRAC guidelines
  • Coordinates and facilitate Enterprise Based Training programme at factory premises and collects relevant and required documents from factory focal point
  • Provides support to the BRAC Skills Development Programme for Safety Management System Training facilitating both in institutional and factory-based setting
  • Facilitates and implements training on different components of safety management (Fire, Electrical, Structural etc.)
  • Assists in developing business cases, concept notes, proposal (e.g. decent work and OSH Strategy), reports, budgets etc.
  • Assists in developing and implementing safety management SOPs both in institutional and factory based settings
  • Conducts field visits to ensure proper implementation of activities and prepares, analyses all relevant reports and documentations as required by the supervisor
  • Ensures the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Acts as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practices, promotes and endorses the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follows the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Masters in any discipline from any recognised university/ institutions

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 05 years of relevant professional experience in Compliance Audit, Training and Development in RMG Sector
  • Working experience with BRAND, Compliance Audit Firm, Trade Organisation and Training Institute will get preference

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Have an understanding on socio-economic context of the country
  • Have a clear understanding about the industry needs in social compliance domain
  • Have an excellent level of skills in developing training manual and delivering training programmes
  • Have an excellent level of people skills to deal with clients / participants
    from the RMG sectors
  • Excellent computer applications skills including MS Office
    (particularly Word and Excel, Power Point)
  • Excellent skills in written and verbal communication in both English and Bangla
  • Excellent skills in organising, monitoring and data management
  • Excellent skills in report writing and documentation
