  Position  

Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation, Gender Justice and Diversity Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Develop/contribute to M&E strategy, guideline, ToC, Logframe, M&E/result framework of sectoral programmes, departments and enterprises in BRAC
  • Coordinate and communicate in all aspects of gender equality and VAWC result tracking across BRAC programmes, departments and enterprises
  • Provide technical support to sectoral programmes, departments, enterprises and pilot initiative, projects in BRAC to implement the M&E frameworks in favour of M&E
  • Carry out advanced quantitative and qualitative data analysis and deliver relevant M&E information products/ reports for BRAC
  • Design and conduct various survey/ assessment/VAWC tracking/study to monitor and capture results of  BRAC’s gender equality interventions
  • Share/ disseminate the M&E information/ findings/ feedback/ recommendations  with sectoral programmes, departments and enterprises in BRAC
  • Contribute to BRAC gender mainstreaming lessons, good practice, case study documentation and proposal development
  • Develop a digital information hub/ MIS system to pull and analyse BRAC wide GEWE data, VAWC and a digital knowledge sharing platform
  • Provide technical and strategic assistance on monitoring and tracking results of different innovation projects/pilot initiatives on BRAC’s gender work
  • Lead to validate reported data and DQA to assure data quality of BRAC gender equality interventions
  • Ensure appropriate data collection tools and systems are in place and are being used correctly by staff to collect required and accurate data for performance, monitoring and evaluation
  • Supervise and mentor a team of M&E professionals and assist mentoring of other technical staff in shared management to carry out field level monitoring activities of BRAC gender equality interventions
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Masters in Statistics/ Economics/ Social Science or any other relevant discipline from any recognised university with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations

Experience Requirement:

  • At least 5 years’ of working experience in the related field

Additional Requirements:

  • Having conceptual knowledge on gender, programme management and quantitative research methodologies
  • Able to deal with large dataset and relevant statistical software (such as SPSS) to analyse and generate scientific data
  • Proven ICT skills, especially in the development of MIS software using database software
  • Demonstrable experience of publishing high quality reports and articles
  • Excellent team player and building relationships
  • Technical support to analyse data on gender equality actions in BRAC
