Position

 

Regional Manager; Skills Development Programme (Contractual)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • To finalise and approve market driven trades and plan for effective implementation of the Skills Training both apprenticeship model, institutional based and Enterprise
  • Development projects at the field level ensuring proper quality.
  • To ensure that AMs responsibilities are accomplished as per programme requirement
  • To communicate with different stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure strong coordination with government and non-government organisations.
  • To develop the capacity of staff regarding the programme requirement through different meeting, training, workshop and orientation in the local level.
  • To support head office to design and implement different new interventions in different programmes.
  • To check bills, vouchers, and budgets and forward it to HO for final approval.
  • To implement the decisions taken by head office and prepare programme related financial & technical reports as required (monthly, quarterly) in coordination with the staff.
  • To ensure that all sub centers are operating smoothly and fulfilling the target with quality training.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters in any subject from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 05 years’ experience in National/International NGO including minimum 03 years in Managerial Position.

Additional Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge in management and technical knowledge in informal and formal skills sectors.
  • Excellent managerial, planning and project management skills.
  • Efficiency in quality report writing and reviewing.
  • Competencies in training conduction and awareness raising.
  • Proficiency in using different computer applications.
