  Position  

Regional Manager, Organisational Development, Gender Justice and Diversity Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:
  • Implementation of organisational development and capacity related activities for specific area and regions
  • Develop and review training modules, materials, manuals for gender training, workshop & forums
  • Ensure execution of different workshop, discussion sessions and dialogs on organizational gender priorities with collaboration of respective program management
    Maintain effective coordination with local level program management (RM, AM,DM, BDC etc.) related to gender mainstreaming and capacity enhancement activities
  • Ensure GJD participation in District Program Coordination (DPC) and other organization level combine forums/meetings to raise gender responsive work environment issues
  • Ensure celebration of special national and international days and events on gender, women and human rights
  • Conduct gender specific TNA, staff attitude and work environment related survey in their assigned area
  • Prepare training calendar, monthly action plan and periodic progress report on gender capacity related activities for specific area
  • Develop and compile training reports, database of training participants, pre and post test results and training evaluation reports
  • Regular interaction with BDC and local government official for ensuring FD6 related requirements
  • Visit and follow up of branch/field offices to ensure gender responsive work environment including gender mainstreaming interventions
  • Violence reporting, incident linkage and referral and follow-up of VAWG incidents in the assigned districts
  • Networking and local level advocacy related activities and support M&E regarding data collection and report
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • MSS in Social Science/ Sociology/ Social work/ Gender studies/ Law/ psychology/ political science/ development studies or any other relevant discipline from any recognised university with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations

Experience Requirement:

  • At least 3 years’ work experience in gender and women empowerment related programme

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge in Gender equality and women empowerment issues in Bangladesh and global
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation and interpersonal skills and capacity
  • Motivation and negotiation skills is mostly priorities
  • Leadership and supportive management skill to guide all peer colleagues
